Brittney Valdez Teaches Illusion Turns on June 26th

Brittney Valdez

United Country Western Dance Council (UCWDC) Division 1 Couples World Champion and Masters Competitor—and professional ballroom instructor—Brittney Valdez teaches at West Coast Wednesdays (WCW) on June 26th, promising an evening of lessons with a bit of magical flare.

“My beginner/novice lesson will give you enough to have you on the floor and looking like a longtime West Coast Swing (WCS) veteran, whether you’ve been dancing for one week, one month, or one year,” Brittney says. “In my intermediate (and above) class, we’ll focus on illusion turns, and how to apply them in social WCS settings.”

The journey for the evening:

  • For the novice-level class – West Coast Swing Magic 101 – Begin your WCS journey here, or reinforce your basics.
  • For the intermediate-level lesson – Illusion Turns – Take your WCS magic to David Blaine-like levels with a crash course on how to do illusion turns in a social setting.

“I’m elated to return to teach at WCW,” Brittney says. “I hope to see familiar and new faces and to help make this a most magical evening.”
