Harrison Ramsey Bio:
Harrison Ramsey has been dancing for just over ten years and Dancing with Stars is was what first inspired him to dance. After trying a few youth classes, he fell in love with dancing and caught the competition bug.
Dance brings him great joy, an outlet for creativity, and brings out his competitive spirit. Harrison is a two-time United Country Western Dance Council (UCWDC) World Champion in Line Dance and Pro-Am couples, an advanced West Coast Swing (WCS) dancer and is active in the Chicago social dance community.
He started off competing in ballroom, and is currently an active competitor on the WCS circuit, rising star circuit, as well as UCWDC Division 3 couples and Line Dance. Harrison travels across the country competing, which is where he got his first taste of teaching at Derby City Swing. He got to co-teach a Sunday Morning workshop with his partner Kat after winning their first Rising Star competition.
He’s always wanted to teach dance, and this experience helped him realize his dream. He is a teacher in training at Heart and Sole Dance. His goal is to share his love of and passion for dance, to share the joy dance brings out in us with his partners, and to inspire other juniors, like himself, to dance.
